Anson County Recent Arrests is a private reference, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office responsible for the record or custody decision.

For a current Anson County Jail admission, begin with Citizen Connect. For a missing entry, booking sheet, release record, or jail-held photograph, contact the Sheriff or Jail Administrator. The Sheriff’s public office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Those hours do not mean the jail stops booking or releasing people after the office closes.

The record type and custody stage determine where to look:
- For a booking record or photograph, use the county home page’s official roster and records-request instructions, then contact the Sheriff if the online result is incomplete.
- For a recent admission, use Arrests Last 24 Hours; for several days of admissions, use the Police Blotter.
- For release or transfer alerts in covered North Carolina systems, use NC SAVAN or VINELink. A roster search alone does not register an alert.
- For a filed case, hearing, dismissal, plea, or sentence, use the North Carolina Judicial Branch Anson County page or call the Clerk of Superior Court at 704-994-3800.
- For state prison, probation, or parole status, use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction Offender Public Information Search.
- For federal prison custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
- For a Wadesboro Police report, contact WPD at 704-694-2167. For a Polkton Police record, use 704-272-7463. No verified Ansonville municipal police contact was located.
The county publishes no booking-photo fee schedule or guaranteed turnaround. Ask whether an electronic copy is available, whether actual reproduction cost applies, and when the custodian expects to respond. Use 911 only for an emergency.
